Refurbished Equipment
After you have decided which GE CT Scanner will be best for your facilities needs we will either pull
one from our inventory or source a system for your order. Every single CT Scanner that we inventory or
acquire is inspected by our service engineers before it is purchased. The system is put through rigorous
testing before we perform the deinstall. If it does not meet our strict criteria we will not purchase
the equipment.
Then the refurbishment process begins. In the first stages of the refurbishment process the system is
thoroughly inventoried and the serial numbers of all the major components are recorded. All the exterior
body panels are removed and the system is visually checked out for wear and tear items. At this time a list
of worn items is compiled and whatever parts need to be replaced are ordered.
The system is then cleaned and detailed. The exterior body panels are washed and sent to our in house
body shop where they will be prepped and painted. All our systems are painted with the same batch paint
that the OEMs use to ensure the highest quality and finish. Our crew of professional painters make
every system look like they are brand new.
The Remaining components of the system are sent to the staging area, where they are assembled
as a complete system. All of the system cables are inspected and replaced as needed. The system is then
cabled up and power is supplied to the unit. At this point a new X-Ray tube is installed and the system
is thoroughly tested once again. After thorough Quality Assurance testing is complete, the system enters
the final assembly process.
At this point all the system body panels are reinstalled and checked for quality, fit & finish. The
system will then be inventoried, shrink wrapped, packed out and the moving dollies installed. The system
is now ready to ship to the customers prepared site. Every single system we ship is loaded on to air ride
trucks. We only let professional movers and riggers handle your equipment. This assures everyone
that the system will arrive safely, with no shipping damage.
